The Nigerian Federal Government have brought back Nigerians willingly to return home from overseas. Most of these Nigerians are faced with harsh conditions in the face of the pandemic disease.
Just recently, on Thursday, May 7, 250 Nigerians in Dubai arrived in the country through a scheduled evacuation mission.
According to the country’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Geoffrey Onyeama, Canada refused Nigerian airline Landing rights for the evacuation of some of its citizens in their country.
The carrier was not allowed to Land in their country because the airline doesn’t have the license for commercial flight in Canada.
Nigeria’s high commissioner to Canada, however, stated that the flight is an emergency evacuation flight and not commercial flight.
Going further, Onyeama he made known that the two countries are having diplomatic negotiations on the evacuation.
