The Leader of the Izala sect movement in Nigeria Bala Lau has dismissed reports of his death.
Mr Lau spoke to newsmen in Yola the Adamawa state capital saying the report which appeared on online news medium Sahara reporters is false and misleading.
He tasked newsmen to verify their stories before they are published saying he has received a barrage of phone calls by well-wishers calling to confirm his wellbeing.
