A 68-year-old man named Howard Gomoll, in Michigan, has been arrested after assaulting a shop clerk by wiping his nose on the clerk’s shirt.
The shop clerk reportedly instructed the 68-year-old man to wear a face mask after entering the store. It is the store’s policy that every individual must wear a face mask in order to reduce the risk of contacting the COVID 19 virus or spreading it.
In response to the instruction from the shop clerk, the 68-year-old man proceeded to wipe his nose on the shop clerk’s shirt. The 68-year old man continued to misbehave, causing chaos and disruption for as long as he was in the store.
The state of Michigan has implemented a new policy from the COVID 19 pandemic that all residents in the state must wear face masks or at least anything that can be used to cover the nose and mouth at all times while in public areas.
The old man has been prosecuted by the state law and charged with misdemeanour assault and battery.
Again, in the state of Michigan, a 43-year old security guard, Calvin Munnerlyn was murdered over a facemask dispute.
