Donald Trump says COVID-19 vaccine will be available before 2020 is over

America is so confident that before the close of the year, they would have a vaccine for the pandemic disease. Donald Trump the President of the United States made known on Sunday, 3 May in a broadcast at the Fox News Townhall, that America by the end of the year would have the COVID-19 vaccine.

In the same breath, he disclosed that by September, he would look into the reopening of schools and colleges. According to him, he doesn’t have a problem with another country beating America to finding the vaccines. All he wants is a vaccine to be made available.

Talking about the risks during the human clinical trial of the vaccine, Trump stated that the volunteers have a clear knowledge of what they signed up for. The United States currently has 1, 188, 421 confirmed cases, and 68,602 recorded death.
