The MD of Primero Transport Services, Fola Tinubu in an exclusive interview with Plus TV Africa on News On The Hour has stated that in addition to just transporting 20 people at once and ensuring no two people are sitting side by side, the transport company will start encouraging a card payment system to further enforce the social distancing guideline.
He explained that instead of money changing hands for every single trip which will ultimately put a lot of lives at risk, funding a card which could be funded for a month or weekly period will be encouraged thereby reducing the spread of the disease.
Tinubu also disclosed that only filling the buses halfway will most definitely not result in profit or gains for the organization but will help transit people. He also encouraged people to be patient as the buses which used to carry at least 70 people will only now carry a fraction per trip
