Ganduje relaxes lockdown order in Kano

Kano State Government has relaxed the 14 days lockdown order imposed on the state to enable people restock food stuff.

Markets are allowed to open on Mondays and Thursdays between 10.00 am and 4.00 pm.

Governor Abdullahi Ganduje announced that only Yan lemo and Yankaba markets are allowed to open outside Mondays and Thursdays.

The Chairman of the state Task Force on COVID- 19 and Deputy Governor, Nasiru Gawun, also said plans have reached advance stage to establish testing centres in all the 44 local government areas.

Three thousand personnel are to be recruited to complement the work of the rapid response team.
