Lagos State Government has released another batch of 26 COVID-19 patients in the state.
The State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, made the announcement on Friday evening.
Fourteen of the newly released patients were males and 12 females including two foreign nationals – a Polish and a Filipino.
Fourteen of the patients were released from the Mainland Infectious Disease Hospital, Yaba while 12 were released from the Onikan Isolation Centre.
They were discharged having fully recovered and tested negative to COVID-19 in two consecutive readings.

With this, the number of COVID-19 confirmed cases that have been successfully managed and discharged in Lagos is now 225.
Meanwhile, Governor Sanwo-olu also disclosed that the state is expanding its isolation capacity with more locations and medical equipment.
