Nasarawa state has recorded two more positive cases of the dreaded Coronavirus in the state.

Governor Abdullahi Sule confirmed this while briefing reporters on the current status of the COVID-19 pandemic in Lafia , the state’s capital, on Thursday.

Nasarawa State on Tuesday, announced its first positive case and recorded two more positive cases of COVID-19 on Thursday bringing the total number of infected persons in the state to three.

Sule announced that the two new cases are returnees from Lagos State, noting that all the positive cases recorded in the state are women.

The Governor harped that stiffer measures would be taken to restrict inter-state movement at borders with Nasarawa State.

The two case are out of the 40 returnees from high risk states who were isolated and their samples taken for tests.
