Bollywood actor Rishi Kapoor is dead after a long battle with leukaemia at the age of 67. The ace actor was first diagnosed in 2018 and passed away on the 30th of April 2020, a day after fellow Bollywood actor, Irfan Khan died.
The actor began his acting career as a part of the Kapoor acting dynasty and made his first breakthrough in Bobby. He was awarded a Lifetime Achievement Award in 2008 and has been honoured with several awards in his lifetime.
Tributes have poured in from different actors in the Bollywood Film Industry. Actors, Amitabh Bachchan, Priyanka Chopra, and Akshay Kumar are some of the Indian celebrities who have paid their respects to the veteran actor.
He is survived by his wife, Neetu Kapoor, his two children – actor Ranbir Kapoor and sister, Ridhima.
