Ebonyi has become the last state in South-East Nigeria to record its first case of the Coronavirus infection.
Governor Dave Umahi, who made the announcement Sunday evening, said the index case is a commercial transporter who works from Abakaliki to some parts of South-West Nigeria.
The other four states in the South-East including Abia, Anambra, Enugu, and Imo have all recorded Coronavirus cases.
