South-African born comedian Trevor Noah has used his platform to ask fans and followers to help those most affected by the COVID-19 pandemic, in the process raising about $500000 dollars.
Using his popular late-night talk show, “The Daily Show”, Trevor encouraged people to donate to various charities in desperate need of funds. Trevor is not the only celebrity who is raising funds for the Coronavirus Pandemic relief.
Fenty Beauty owner and Singer Rihanna’s Foundation had also donated the sum of $5 million to charities while Oprah Winfrey donated 9 million U.S dollars.
