Edo State Government has announced the discharge of the seventh Coronavirus patient, who has tested negative twice for the virus.
Governor Godwin Obaseki, who disclosed this in a statement, said the seventh discharged patient is the index case in the state, noting that with the development, Edo has now recorded 50 per cent recovery rate for admitted patients being managed in facilities across the state.
Speaker, Edo State House of Assembly, Frank Okiye, was announced by the State Government as the index case.
He was diagnosed after a return trip from the United Kingdom.
