The Inspector-General of Police, IGP, Mohammed Adamu, has ordered the posting and redeployment of some Senior Police Officers to new Command, Formation and Department across the country.
This was contained in a statement issued and signed by the Force Public Relations Officer, Frank Mba.
According to the statement, Rivers Commissioner of Police, Dandaura Mustapha, is now CP Provost FHQ, Abuja, CP Joseph Gobum Mukan has become CP Rivers Command, while CP Musa Adze is now CP Anti-Fraud Unit.
The IGP charged the affected Commissioners of Police to diligently and professionally discharge their duties in their new areas of responsibilities,’’ the statement read.
The statement said the posting and redeployment of the affected Senior Police Officers is with immediate effect.
