Edo state Commissioner for Science and Technology, Emmanuel Agbale, has been kidnapped.
He was kidnapped Friday evening on his way to Ekpoma, on the Benin Auchi Road, around Oil Palm Estate.
His Police Orderly was killed in the process while the driver escaped unhurt.
The Edo State Police public Relations Officer, Chidi Nwabuzor, confirmed this to reporters saying that investigation is ongoing.
Agbale was the former Commissioner for Education but now heads the Science and Technology Ministry.
