Edo Announces Two New Cases Of Coronavirus

The Edo State Commissioner for Health, Patrick Okundia, has revealed that the state has recorded two new cases of Coronavirus.

Okundia, who made the revelation at a media briefing in Benin City, the state capital, called for all to abide by the directives of the State Government.

The Deputy Governor, Philip Shaibu, also announced the relocation of markets to the nearest public primary and secondary schools in their localities.

Shaibu said the relocation will allow for the markets to be fumigated and social distancing maintained even among the traders.

The Deputy Governor added that henceforth the use of face masks is compulsory for all who must go out of their houses.

The State Government also condemned the use of hotels and private residence for self-isolation.
