The 55-year-old British Prime Minster, Boris Johnson has been admitted for testing. 10 days after Boris tested positive for the COVID-19 virus, he developed persistent symptoms and was hospitalized. The hospitalization of the British Prime Minister according to his office is not an emergency admission but only a precautionary step.

Despite being hospitalized, Boris continues to lead and make decisions. This was confirmed by Robert Jenrick, the housing minister. Jenrick confirmed that Prime Minister is doing fine and will remain in the hospital for as long as he needs to before he returns back to Number 10.

On the off chance the Prime Minister can no longer perform his duties, Foreign Secretary Dominic Raab will take charge.

On 27 March, Boris Johnson announced he tested positive for the COVID-19. He was in isolation at a flat in Downing Street. During his 10 days of isolation, the 55-year-old British Prime Minister continued to hold daily meetings on the United Kingdom’s response to the outbreak of the pandemic disease and also released several videos.

Matt Hancock the heath secretary tested positive to the virus, Chris Witty the Chief Medical officer, Dominic Cummings Johnson’s senior adviser and Boris Johnson’s pregnant wife, Carrie Symonds, are all showing symptoms to the virus. Carrie Symonds, however, is yet to be tested for the virus.

Medical experts stated that Boris’s heart and lung function will be assessed by Doctors.
