With another four patients discharged on Friday, the Lagos State Commissioner for Health, Akin Abayomi, says there is still enough space at the Yaba facilities to accommodate incoming Coronavirus patients.
The Commissioner, who was speaking during a briefing to update reporters on the situation in Lagos State, said the strategy of stay-at-home and social distancing has helped to reduce the spread of Coronavirus transmission to a large extent.
The discharged patients include three females and one male who have fully recovered and tested negative for Coronavirus.
More great news from our Infectious Disease Hospital as 4 patients; 3 females and 1 male have recovered fully, tested negative twice and have been discharged.

This gives us a lot of hope as we continue to listen to our health experts and provide the resources to beat #COVID19.
With the newly discharged patients, we now have a total of 23 people that have recovered from #COVID19 in Lagos.

Big thanks to our health workers working hard during this time. Please continue social distancing to avoid becoming the weak link in our collective efforts. pic.twitter.com/Moy037oNnW
