In light of the COVID-19 pandemic, American rapper Cardi B is reaching out to medical practitioners who are on the forefront of the virus risking their lives to save others.
She has donated 20.000 bottles of a plant-based, vegan meal supplement drink called OWYN to New York City area hospitals for their ambulance crew and medical staff.
According to the rapper, she wanted to help the workers, as they barely get a chance to eat during their shifts. Cardi B also had some health issues of her own when she came down with a stomach bug a few days ago. She was rushed to the E.R, but she is recovering.
