Adamawa State Government workers on grade levels one to 14 have been directed to work from home for a period of two weeks, with immediate effect.
The directive is for both the public and private sectors.
The step is to prevent the invasion of the Coronavirus pandemic in the state.
A statement released by the Governor’s Press Department on Thursday, said the directive is for all categories of workers, except those on essential duties.
It said that the decision is subject to review.
It urged members of the public to cooperate with the government to ensure their safety.
