In a statement released yesterday, UEFA officially announced that the Champions League, Europa League and Women’s Champions League Final have all been postponed till due to the COVID-19 crisis that has rocked European countries so far.
Also, due to the coronavirus, the knockout stages of the Champions League and Europa League have been put on hold. The UEFA Euro 2020 has been postponed till 2021 as well as the UEFA Nations League.
UEFA is currently still trying to find a way to conclude the round of 16 stages for both the Champions League and Europa League.
The Champions League final was set to take place on the 30th of May at the Ataturk Olympic Stadium in Istanbul, Turkey while the Europa League final was meant to have been concluded a day before on the 29th of May at the Baku Olympic Stadium in Azerbaijan
