Consequent to the announcement by the Federal Government to practise social distancing and avoid large gatherings of over 50 in headcounts.
Leaders from notable Churches such as the Redeemed Christian Church of God, House on the Rock, Daystar Christian Centre, KICC and Trinity House have all taken drastic measures to ensure that they comply with the new guidelines imbibing social distancing thereby preventing the spread of COVID-19.
Several of them have released statements announcing that during the sensitive periods, church services will hold via online channels and physical gatherings will be kept to a minimum.
Pastor Ighodalo also shared that failure to comply with constitutional authority would be going against the Word of God.
