The top health officials of the Federation, Osagie Ehanire and Olorunimbe Mamora, at a conference today with pressmen have revealed the Federal Government’s approach towards containing the Coronavirus which has recently gained momentum within the shores of Nigeria.
According to Ehanire Osagie, the Nigeria Minister of State, Federal Ministry of Health mentioned that Nigeria is going the proactive way to try to contain the spread of the virus as Nigeria cannot afford an outbreak.
He likened the state of the country to one who needs to be quick if they aren’t strong enough to contain the virus spread.
According to him, steps are currently in progress to trace all persons who have come in contact with the 12 people currently confirmed with the disease – almost 1,300 people.
