The COVID 19 death toll in Italy has now passed 3,400 people surpassing the death toll of China’s, where the virus originated of 3,245. Italy has now been recorded as the country with the highest deaths from the COVID 19.

Over 40,000 people in Italy have been tested positive for the COVID 19 virus, the second-highest in the world, following china’s 81,174.

Italy government has called on to the European Union for help. The Italian government has complained that the Chinese government has been much more helpful in helping contain the COVID 19 virus than the European Union.

Chinese health officials and medical doctors recently arrived in Italy to help the country manage the pandemic outbreak.

The total death toll from the COVID 19 is over 10,000 people with one-third of the recorded death cases from Italy.

Hotels in Italy have been converted to temporary clinics because the hospitals are over-occupied and the COVID 19 virus continues to spread rapidly.

The bodies of the dead people were taken to Bergamo, Italy but now mortuaries in Bergamo have run out of space with nowhere to put the dead.
