The Lagos State government on Wednesday placed a ban on all religious gathering of more than 50 persons in the state.
This is sequel to the increase of COVID-19 cases from its initial three cases to seven confirmed incidents in the state in just few days.
The decision was the consensus reached during the interactive session between Lagos State Government and cross-section of religious leaders in the State.
Those present at the meeting included the State Chairman Christian Association of Nigeria, Alexander Bamgbola and the Grand Chief Imam of the state, Sheik Abu Nolla.
