manchester united may sign ighalo for £15 million

According to The Sun newspaper, Odion Ighalo will gladly accept a £6M pay cut to secure a permanent deal to remain at the club he supported as a child.

The 30-year-old Nigerian is currently on a 6-month loan deal from his parent club in China, Shanghai Shenhua. With the current situation in China, the striker would prefer to remain in England.

The Nigerian has scored four goals in eight appearances in all competitions thus far. He has proved his critics wrong and impressed a lot of pundits and United legends. Although he is yet to register a start and a goal in the Premier League, he has had impressive performances off the bench, most recently the last match in the United derby.

Current Manchester United boss, Ole Gunnar Solsjkaer has slightly hinted about a permanent deal to be offered to the former Watford striker who was initially brought in to provide cover for the injured Marcus Rashford. Would Ighalo eventually get the deal? Only time would tell.
