Federal Government says it will support the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board, JAMB, to accredit more centres in Cross River State due to the increase in the number of students writing the examination in the state.
The Minister of State for Education, Emeka Nwajuba, stated this Monday when he led the JAMB officials on inspection at Computer Based Test, CBT, centres and to know the condition of students who are writing the 2020 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination, UTME, in Calabar.
Nwajuba, while pleading with the students for delays at some of the centres within Calabar and its environment told reporters that he was satisfied with the level of compliance of students and preparedness of the JAMB.
He said that more centres will be created in the state based on report after the 2020 exercise to make the examination condusive for students.
Some of the students who commended JAMB for improvement on the computer-based examination, said the environment is not too conducive for them.
