A group of unpaid contractors under the federal ministry of agriculture and rural development have called for urgent intervention from the presidency over unpaid contracts since 2018.
The group made the call in Abuja while addressing newsmen about their plight saying despite the fact they collected loans to execute their contracts, the ministry of agriculture and rural development has refused to pay them.
They have said if nothing is done in the interest of peace, they would have to resort to legal measures to get their monies back.
