Thanks to Watford, the current UEFA Champions League holders would not be able to replicate Arsenal’s invincible season. Nevertheless, securing the title would still be fulfilling.
Liverpool winning the Premier League would be a great feat as it would be their first Premier League trophy within the modern era. They will then move one step closer in equalling Manchester United’s record for most league trophies won. United currently have 20 while Liverpool would have 19.
The Merseyside Reds would love to complete a double at the end of the season by being the first team since Real Madrid to retain the UEFA Champions League.
