Italy returns to lockdown for the Third Time

As the Coronavirus epidemic slows in China, Italy seems to be the worst hit and to contain the spread, the Italian Government as now placed as many as 16 million people under quarantine in Lombardy and the other northern parts of the country.

Over 7,000 people have tested positive to the disease while 366 people have passed away, of which 133 happened on Sunday.

China had earlier reported that they hope that by March the coronavirus spread would have been duly contained.

Diligent efforts were channelled towards containing the virus. China allocated the sum of $9 billion towards containing the disease and built 4 hospitals dedicated to help manage the crisis.
