The President of the Senate Ahmad Lawan has expressed disappointment over the lack of a temporary isolation centre for victims of coronavirus in Abuja.
Mr Lawan says despite the approval of over six hundred million Naira expected to be disbursed by the Federal Ministry of Finance to the Centre for disease control, no work has been done showing a lack of preparedness by the federal government.
The President of the Senate on a visit to the University of Abuja Teaching Hospital in Gwagwalada Abuja urged the Finance Ministry to release the funds with immediate effect.
