The director of the movie “Ride Along” franchise is facing a lawsuit over the death of a 2-year-old boy in a hot tub in his backyard by the Father of the child Miguel Raygoza –Castillo, after his son fell onto an unfenced spa tub band suffered fatal injuries.
According to the father of the deceased boy, Story’s hot tub didn’t have warning or alarms to detect if anyone falls into the water and wasn’t properly fenced.
The child was hospitalised for 4 days until his family decided to take him off life support, even though this wasn’t an easy decision for the family.
Story and his wife are being sued by Miguel for damages, funeral and burial expenses, medical expenses, emotional distress from losing a child. Pain and suffering.
