Deontay Wilder has officially triggered the rematch clause in the contract he signed for the last bout between him and Tyson Fury.

After his embarrassing loss two weeks ago, Wilder came out and said he had weak legs due to the weight of his costume which he wore to the ring. Wilder definitely believes that he can defeat Fury.

In their previous two meetings, Fury definitely asserted his dominance but Wilder was able to knock him down twice in the first bout which resulted in a draw back in December 2018.

The unanimous split decision was made after 12 rounds of action. The second bout only lasted seven rounds in which Fury dominated and defeated Wilder hands down.

The third and final bout between these pair this year is scheduled for July 18th before the Olympics start a few days later.

Wilder is determined to redeem his image and prove the critics wrong about him not stepping up against major heavyweight opponents.

He equally wants to face Anthony Joshua in a super heavyweight clash to unify all the boxing titles in the heavyweight division.
