The first leg of all the round of 16 Champions League fixtures came to an end last night in epic fashion as it ended with shocking results. On Tuesday, Chelsea was battered at home by Bayern Munich as they conceded three away goals without a reply while Barcelona returned home with a crucial away goal and a draw at Napoli.
A recap of the other first-leg round of fixtures that took place last week saw RB Leipzig dominate and win at Tottenham while Valencia were the victims of a 4-1 thrashing at Atlanta. Lastly, Atletico Madrid were victors against Liverpool with a 1-0 win while Dortmund edged PSG by a goal as they registered a 2-1 win.
The second leg fixtures will begin next week as teams would be looking forward to cementing their place in the quarter-finals while others would be plotting a miraculous turnaround.
