El-Zakzaky trial to commence in april

The Kaduna High Court has once again adjourned the court case of Sheikh Ibrahim El-ZakZaky to the 23rd and 24th of April 2020.

Sheikh Ibrahim El-Zakzaky, the leader of the Islamic Movement in Nigeria (IMN), is facing charges against alleged homicide and attacks against Nigerian law enforcement and the army.

Although, the Islamic Movement of Nigeria, claims to be a non-violent and peaceful group. They claim to be focused on Islamic studies and enlightenment in a peaceful approach.

The court case which was supposed to hold yesterday was reportedly postponed because of the poor state of health of Ibrahim Zakzaky and his wife Zeenah Ibrahim.

The High Court of Kaduna granted the Shia couple full access to all medical services they required on the 6th of February but it seems like the controller of the correctional facilities disagreed with the court ruling because she refused to obey the court orders and did not allow the Shia couple their permitted access.
