oshiomole responds to wike's accusation of violence

The National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress Adams Oshiomole has criticized comments made by the Rivers State Governor Nyesom Wike accusing the APC of being responsible for the wave of violence witnessed in Yenagoa, the Bayelsa state capital, following the sacking of Bayelsa state Governor-Elect David Lyon.

Mr Oshiomole says the River State Governor is trying to cash in on the opportunity made available by the Supreme Court ruling, in a bid to mend fences with his counterparts in the Peoples Democratic Party following his dwindling popularity and recent fallout with the former Governor of Bayelsa State Seriake Dickson.

He says available evidence in the past has shown that Mr Wike has benefited from violence to win elections, to the detriment of the residents of Rivers State.
