The United States Government is set to construct a one thousand three hundred and fifty megawatts power plant worth one point one million dollars which is about ₦400,000,000 in Abuja.
The U-S via its Trade Development Agency, U-S-T-D-A has signed a grant agreement with the Federal Government represented by the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation, NNPC.
The Acting Director of the U-S-T-D-A Thomas Hardy spoke to newsmen in Abuja saying the grant which was awarded to boost innovation in power generation, economic and infrastructural growth in Nigeria, is expected to improve power supply within the nation’s capital and its environs when completed
