In furtherance to the nullification of David Lyon’s election, Diri Duoye is set to be sworn in as the Governor of Bayelsa State barely 24 hours to the inauguration ceremony.
David Lyon and his running mate, Biobarakuma Degi-Eremienyo were disqualified on the premise that false information was presented to INEC by Justice Mary Peter-Odili.
With this ruling in place, Diri Duoye becomes the next eligible candidate to become Governor of the State
