The Governor of Abia State, Okezie Ikpeazu, has approved the immediate suspension of the Executive Secretary of the Abia Secondary Education Management Board, SEMB, Arch. Lawrence Ogbonna.
This was contained in a statement issued by Dr. Anthony Agbazuere, the Chief of Staff to the Abia Governor, on Tuesday evening.
The reason behind Ogbonna’s suspension was not given in the statement.
According to the Governor, “The suspended Executive Secretary is to handover to the next most senior officer with immediate effect.”
