While many Nigerians have expressed discouragement over the fact that Kenyan nationals keep winning the Lagos City Marathon challenge.
Well, the Ex-President, Athletic Federation of Nigeria, Solomon Ogba has explained the biological reason why Kenyans keep taking home the prize Win. According to him, not all Kenyans are good runners but a select tribe are due to the fact that they have bigger lungs and retain more oxygen and will always outrun people from other geographies.
While he stresses that though Northern Nigerian habitats such as people from the Mambilla Plateau share the same evolutionary biological tendencies, the added advantage has not become a skill due to the lack of necessary training and science.
