CAF SUPER CUP: Victor Gomes to officiate Cup Final

The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has confirmed that South African referee, Victor Gomes will officiate the CAF super cup final on Friday, February 14th, in Qatar.

The match will be contested between Esperance Tunis the 2019 CAF Champions League champions and Zamalek the current CAF Confederations Cup champions at the Al-Gharrafa Stadium.

The three-time CAF super cup champions, Zamalek, will play host to Esperance Tunis, in the first leg of the quarter-final round of the CAF champions league on February 29th.

Esperance Tunis who last won the super cup title in 1995, will be looking to win their second title.

The 37-year-old Gomes is an award-winning official in the 2012/13 and 2017/18 campaign season after he was voted South African Premiere League Referee of the Year.
