The House of Representatives is set to resume plenary today, Wednesday, 29, 2020 after adjourning plenary yesterday to mourn Honourable Muhammad Gawo who passed away during the Christmas holidays.
The Motion for adjournment was moved by the majority leader of the House Honourable Peter Akpatason and seconded by the House Minority leader Honourable Ndudi Elumelu.
Honourable Gawo who was representing Garki-Dubara Federal Constituency of Jigawa State died in Dubai the United Arab Emirates following a brief illness.
Lawmakers held a minute silence for their late colleague.
