The Australian Open gets more interesting as top female contestants who may have been considered to go home with the grand slam have crashed out this morning.
Osaka lost to Coco Gauff due to a terrible miss in the first round which she couldn’t recover from. Venus also lost to Coco and from prior games. It seems Coco is the new kid on the block.

Serena, on the other hand, lost to Qiang Wang in her third round and has since released a statement where she took responsibility for the weak start.
She tried to gain in on the second set but was unable to sustain the momentum. The dagger now hangs in the balance as many wonder if Serena will ever achieve her dream of a 24th Grand Slam Title whichhas escaped her since the birth of her daughter.
Wozniacki, another tennis favourite was quite tearful as she lost in her third round to Ons Jabeur in a 7-5,3-6,7-5 win at the women’s singles competition.
All hands are on deck to see if this year’s title will be secured by the ambitious Coco Gauff or not…
