Reynhard Sinaga on first sight looks like a very friendly easy going and harmless person, however, the 36-year-old man from Indonesia has been termed to be the most prolific rapist in the legal history of Britain.
Sinaga committed 159 proven criminal offences including raping 136 men which he reportedly filmed on two of his mobile phones. The Police is yet to identify an estimated 70 of his victims.
He was sentenced today to a minimum of 30 years of life imprisonment while serving 88 concurrent life sentences with a minimum of 20 years.
On trial, Sinaga claims his victims who were drugged out and some seen on the recorded footage snoring were enjoying the sexual abuse which was rejected by all four juries of the Manchester Crown Court where he was tried.
He was famous for capturing undergraduates in their late teens who he hung out with under the guise of a good night out. he even had a tried and tested formula for catching his preys which was not quite far from his apartment in central Manchester.
Some of his victims were cash strapped, had dead phone batteries or sick at which point he would approach and offer a lending hand donning black-rimmed glasses.
Upon further investigation, several videos of men being raped in their sleep (drugged) were discovered on Sinaga’s iPhone and if they regained consciousness during the ordeal, they were forcibly pushed back down and many men did not know they were raped until the police reached out to them.
