The Australian wildfires are nowhere near slowing down despite entire towns getting engulfed in flames in a fire outbreak that has burned across every state within the Country since September of 2019.

A reported 1,500 homes have been burnt including 10,000 acres of forest and national parks.

New South Wales suffered the biggest hit with many communities and homes of several individuals razed to the grounds. Humans were not the only ones hit as wildlife also especially the Kaola population have been greatly affected. The state has currently declared a state of emergency due to the spiralling wildfires.

Pictures and videos showing animals who died from thirst and severe drought while others show thirsty Kaola’s drinking water from passersby in a very rare show of human interaction.

There are also reports that the New Zealand Glaciers have turned brown due to the effects from the wildfires and may be in danger of melting faster.

Meanwhile, the Australian Prime Minister is currently facing a major backlash due to his apathetic response and going off to Hawaii for a vacation during the holidays whilst the fires raged on. In his defence, he claims there was a breakdown of communication and attributes a majority of the casualties suffered to the widespread climate change which has impacted the Australian weather.

Currently, Australian Comedian Celeste Barber has in total raised the sum of 20 million Australian dollars to help firefighters curtail the fires
