The United States and China have finally come to a tentative agreement on how to proceed going forward.

Nothing concrete has been signed to so the tariffs imposed on Chinese goods remain in place however the 15% tariffs on $120 billion of Chinese products are expected to be slashed in half AND the tariffs scheduled for today have been cancelled.

Donald Trump, the United States president has offered $50 billion per year on Chinese agricultural purchases while China committed to buy $32 billion of additional American produce within the next two years.

Goldmann Sachs has, however, predicted some uncertainty over the status of the agreement based on the blurry technical and legal details
