After the weekly State Executive Council meeting, Mr Olasunkanmi Olaleye the State Commissioner for Establishment and Training stated the plans of the new Governor of Oyo state Gov. Seyi Makinde to recall 300 of the 1803 Civil Servants that were sacked by the former Governor of Oyo State, Senator Abiola Ajimobi during his past administration.
Gov. Seyi Makinde who had earlier promised on 16 October 2019 to critically look into the case of workers that were unlawfully and unjustly dismissed from the past administration is no doubt putting committee’s in place to make this work.
The State Governor decided also to respect the Court decision on the case of the 12 workers that were unlawfully stripped off their work from the past administration.
Mr Olasunkanmi Olaleye also said the Council confirmed that 499 Civil servants were dismissed on the ground of using a fake certificate.
