Based on a report by the Premium Times, some Ikoyi Prison inmates have become victims of an electrocution incident which occurred earlier on Monday thus leading to the death of an undisclosed amount of inmates.
The electric cables at the facility were said to have gone up in flames and the Francis Enobore, the Chief spokesperson of the Nigerian Correction Service has disclosed that further information is still being gathered to discover the cause of the incident.
