Amazon has filed a lawsuit against Pentagon Systems on Friday over the recently awarded defence contract awarded to Microsoft with claims that there was ‘unmistakable bias’ involved in the process on the government’s part.
The U.S Defense Secretary, Mark Esper said the procurement was done without external influence from the outside.
Pentagon awarded the contract titled the Joint Enterprise Defense Infrastructure to Microsoft out of the other competing organizations including Oracle, IBM, and Amazon to help strengthen their security defence systems.
