UNGA President urges for more inclusion of Women and Girls

The President of the United Nations General Assembly Professor Tijjani Muhammad-Bande has tasked Nigeria’s federal government to put more effort in making the society more inclusive.

Professor Muhammad-Bande also a Nigerian, on his first visit to Nigeria since his assumption as the President of the General Assembly at a visit to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Abuja says more should be done in ensuring women and girls are more inclusive in the society and given fair opportunities.

He assured that the General Assembly will continue to focus on peace and security, climate action, inclusion for women and girls, poverty eradication and zero hunger.
