The Federal Government says it is committed to re-positioning the sports sector in an effort to make it more viable for athletes and the nation.
The Minister of Youths and Sports Sunday Dare while speaking to newsmen in Abuja the sports ministry is working towards the formulation of a national sports policy expected to be at par with other nations.
Mr Dare after an inter-ministerial session with sports agencies called on the private sector to partner with the federal government saying their partnership will help provide quality and world-class infrastructure capable of boosting sports development.
